Around the World of Cuisine in six months: Italian Cuisine – featuring Bàcaro
Bàcaro offers an exquisite and luxurious Italian dining sensation that is a must try for any self-respecting foodie.
Located in West Bay Yacht Club, Bàcaro’s spectacular waterfront setting and mouthwatering Venetian style cuisine has gained them a reputation for excellence, with a fresh and exciting selective small plates menu that is to be savoured, not just eaten.
This unique Cayman restaurant exudes class from service to setting and is a result of owners, Head ChefFederico Destro and Barney Bako’s passion for fine dining and creating exceptional memories. Read more about Head Chef Federico Destro in our featured Q&A article.
My “must have” menu recommendations are their fresh, locally caught tuna tartare, served with avocado puree and mango salsa that literally melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavours. It is truly inspirational, together with their beetroot potato gnocchi, another favourite that I can’t get enough of; the flavours and taste experience are simply divine. Whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed!
Their symphony of fresh locally sourced ingredients with authentic Venetian flavours promise a harmonious fusion that will keep you coming back for more.
Bàcaro confess that food and drink are their love language so, be prepared to have a gastronomic love affair and, experience first-hand why Italian food is known for being the food of love!
Bàcaro are currently open Tuesday-Friday 11:30am-10:30pm, Saturday 9:30am-10:30pm and Sundays 12:00pm-10:30pm. Closed on Mondays.
