October

Restaurant Month – 1-31 October 

October is Restaurant Month, and this year, the organisers have partnered with Mastercard to bring you what is now an annual celebration of the Cayman Islands culinary industry. Several eateries are participating in the event, so head to www.restaurantmonth.ky for more details about participating restaurants, menus, and dedicated events.

Cayman Wine Fest – Saturday 12 October and Salud Wine Festival – Saturday 19 October

Wine enthusiasts will be in for a special treat this October because there will be two wine festivals on consecutive weekends. The first event is by Tortuga Fine Wines and Spirits at the Westin Grand Cayman on Seven Mile Beach. Tickets include unlimited wines, spirits, cocktails, live food stations, and entertainment. A portion of proceeds from each ticket will benefit the Cayman Heart Foundation. Visit Event Pro for tickets and all-inclusive tickets are CI $115. 

Salud! is Grand Cayman’s largest wine festival allowing customers to sample over 150 wines from the world’s finest-growing regions. This year’s event will be held at Hotel Indigo, Grand Cayman and tickets are CI $125. Some of the proceeds will aid the Cayman Food Bank. 

Cayman Cocktail Week – Friday 25 October to Friday 1 November 2024

Cayman Cocktail Week is slated for this October and you can sign up on the official website to get notifications about the planned activities including special happy hours and mixology events.

November

Pirates Week 2024 

Pirates Week is transforming into what might be aptly called Pirates Month as each island celebrates. Save these dates: 

Little Cayman – 1 to 3 November 2024

Grand Cayman – 8 to 17 November 2024

Cayman Brac – 22 to 24 November 2024

The annual celebration immerses residents and visitors in the captivating world of pirates, with a series of exciting events, including parades and many activities for the whole family. 

Spotlight on Hollywood Matinee at the Harquail Theatre – Friday 8 to Sunday 10 November

Talented local artists will bring iconic Hollywood silver-screen songs to life, creating a night of magical entertainment. The event will aid Jasmine by providing essential free palliative and hospice care to those in need.

Showtime is 7pm and tickets start at CI $35. Visit Event Pro for tickets.

Rum Fest Cayman – Saturday 7 December 2024

You will not want to miss the inaugural Rum Fest Cayman Islands, a vibrant celebration of the rich history of rum and Caribbean music and dance. The event will be held at the expansive Pedro St James from 2pm to 10pm.

Discover the finest local and international rum brands, enjoy live performances by top artists, and savour delicious Caribbean cuisine.

There are general admissions options starting at CI $35 as well as ticket options for VIP admission for CI $140.
