Valentine’s appetisers include insalata Casanova, prosciutto e melone, shrimp spring roll and lobster cocktail. The Brasserie, Cricket Square  

The Brasserie will have two Valentine’s Day menus this year. The first option is a five-course chef’s tasting menu. This will cost CI$ 125 per person (plus gratuities) add wine pairings CI$65 per person (plus gratuities).  

The five-course chef’s tasting menu will include Royal Miyagi Oyster. The first course is citrus-cured yellowfin Tuna Crudo with green onions, jujube plum, seasoning pepper, radish, ‘coco bluff’ coconut dressing, and crispy plantain paired with Ferrari Brut Spumante, Ferrari, Trentino, Italy. The second course is Cayman Lobster Risotto with long beans, roasted fennel, preserved lemon, garlic chives, and parmesan. The second course is paired with Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc 2020. The third course is Grilled Wahoo with cauliflower & arugula mousseline, roasted local carrots, garden greens, and passion fruit dressing with “Mandolas” Furmint 2018, Oremus. Then you will enjoy Grilled CAB Beef Tenderloin served with truffled Yukon potato purée, local oyster mushrooms, garden kale, and green peppercorn sauce with Tinto Pesquera Reserva 2018 from Spain. Your fifth course is ‘Coco Bluff’ Coconut Cake for two to share with roasted strawberry cream, brasserie honey glazed cashews, orange, and hot chocolate fudge served with Moscato d’Asti 2022 from Italy. Then a mignardise of white chocolate truffles.  

The second menu offering is a three-course tasting menu that will surely delight your Valentine. Dinner is CI $85 per person or CI $140 with wine pairings plus gratuities. To start you have the option of Citrus Cured Yellowfin Tuna Crudo or Cayman Lobster Risotto. The second course is Grilled Wahoo or Grilled CAB Beef Tenderloin. The third course is ‘Coco Bluff’ Coconut Cake or Tahitian Vanilla Crepes.

La Casita Authentic Mexican, Mezcal & Tequila Bar, Austin Conolly Drive

La Casita is hosting lovebirds this Valentine’s Day with a special CI $99 for two people. 

The three-course menu will include appetisers a crema de elote with creamy corn chowder, bacon bits and sour cream with queso fresco and cilantro or empanadas de raja. Your main dish will be a choice of short ribs or grilled prawns. And don’t skip dessert, a Mexican brownie with fruits.

If you are looking for a romantic setting overlooking the ocean, then look no further than the panoramic waterfront terrace at the Grand Old House.

Harbour Grille, The Shoppes at Grand Harbour 

Love is definitely in the air at the Harbour Grille and their Valentine’s three course dinner special is priced at an attractive CI$90 per couple plus 15% gratuities. 

It’s an impressive menu featuring a choice of two starters – roasted butternut squash soup or burrata caprese salad. The main course selection includes beef tenderloin (6oz) or pan seared garlic salmon or pumpkin and goat cheese ravioli. And for the dessert, choose either red velvet cake or strawberry and chocolate mousse. What a fabulous menu!

Lobster Pot, George Town

Create a romantic setting for your loved one with a table for two dining under the stars at the Lobster Pot.  Their three course menu has been compiled specially for Valentine’s Day evening. 

For starters, choose between French onion soup or tomato and burrata salad or frito misto. The main course selection includes steak Oscar or baked halibut and jumbo shrimp or roasted vegetable risotto. And for dessert, choose either chocolate lava cake or strawberry crème Brule. The cost is CI$75 plus 15% gratuities per person. Add a glass of champane ‘Michel Fallet Brut’ for $15.99.

Also, guests can opt for an alternative menu which features Tomahawk steak (32oz) and lobster tail (8oz) for two, served with Hasselback potatoes, grilled asparagus, sauteed mushrooms and onions with Gorgonzola sauce. The menu includes one starter and a dessert for CI$170 per couple plus gratuities.

Ms.Pipers, West Bay Road

Looking for a night of romance? Then look no further than dinner for two at Ms.Piper’s Kitchen and Garden. Their special Valentine’s set menu to share for two features blue mussels and golden oyster mushroom for starters, followed by prime filet mignon, eggplant escabeche and double roasted potatoes, and for dessert, chocolate mousse with honeycomb. 

The cost is CI$80 plus 16% service charge.

Ragazzi Ristorante and Pizzeria, Buckingham Square

Enjoy a romantic four-course Italian dinner with your special someone at Ragazzi on Valentine’s Day. Dinner will begin with smoked salmon and herb roulade, sour cream and caviar. You will also receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco. 

The first course is whipped goat cheese, pistachios, grapes and arugula with carta di musica or a shrimp cocktail. For the main course, you have three options. The first option is beef Wellington with creamy mashed potatoes, sauteed morels and spinach with green peppercorn sauce. Another entre is pan-seared mahi-mahi with fregola, basil and tomato stew. And thirdly, spinach and ricotta cannelloni gratinated with organic Parmesan Reggiano. Dessert is a dark chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato.

The Falls Steakhouse, Canal Point Drive

In addition to their regular menu, the Falls Steakhouse will have a Valentine’s Day special for CI $64.95. 

You will enjoy a delicious beef Wellington with tenderloin wrapped with portobello mushroom, English mustard, Parma ham, and puff pastry served with your choice of starch and vegetables and a complimentary beer, martini or well highball.

At Union Grill & Bar, your evening will commence with a complimentary glass of prosecco for all guests.

Experience an intimate evening with your loved one, surrounded by the warm ambience, as you savour the exquisite Valentine’s set menu and toast with bubbles. There will be limited seats available, so call early to secure your table. Dinner is from 5.30pm to 10pm. 

Enjoy charred Bloody Mary oysters and a glass of champagne. Then, for appetisers, you can choose the torched beef wagyu or scallops. The main dish is either the surf and turf with tenderloin, Caribbean lobster tail, truffle mashed potatoes, bock choy and pickled pearl onions or grilled Hamachi. Dessert is the ace of hearts that includes hazelnuts mousse, cherries and port wine ice cream.
