It is the first weekend in September. What do you have planned? Cayman Restaurants can help. We’ve done the research, so you don’t have to. Today, we are rounding up the best places to eat, and new experiences in the Cayman Islands this weekend – 6-8 September 2024.

Things to Do in the Cayman Islands

Dining Out Friday Night

On Friday night, why not indulge in a fantastic culinary experience at Abacus’ Prime Rib Night! Enjoy your prime rib along with excellent wine pairings.

Or, if you are in the mood for ramen and music, visit Anchor and Den at the Marriot for Rockin’ Ramen from 5pm to 10pm. Dine on flavoursome soup and noodles and rock the night away with hits from the resident DJ. You can also get there early for happy hour and enjoy cocktails, beers and wines with your meal.

Fun Foodie Adventures

There are several restaurants offering fun dining experiences on Saturday 7 September, we’re highlighting a few.

Consider the cocktail masterclass at Union Bar and Grill. It is the perfect way to learn something new with your friends from an experienced mixologist. Union provides all the tools and ingredients, and you can drink what you’ve made along the way! The two-hour session is limited to 12 participants and is perfect for bonding exercises.

Saturday’s event is from 3pm to 5pm, and costs CI $50 per person.

The Mad Tea Party at Anchor and Den is a perfect way to spend your Saturday afternoon, the fun starts at 1.30pm. Their afternoon tea event is inspired by the magic of the Mad Hatter’s tea party from Alice in Wonderland.

Beginning with a welcome glass of bubbles and featuring creative blends designed by the experts of Tea Time in Cayman, A&D offers decadent cakes and other desserts and surprise “Drink Me” potions in addition to classic afternoon tea foods.

Live Music

Chill out and enjoy live music by Denys Carbo at the Saturday Sessions at Kaibo. He will be playing the saxophone from 1pm.

Enjoy the smooth grooves of local artist Brown Suga while dining at Pane and Pasta, Camana Bay. The next dinner with live music will be on Saturday 7 September.

Sunday Brunch

You are spoiled for choice for Sunday Brunch. Several local restaurants, including Tukka East, Woto at the Westin Grand Cayman, Anchor and Den, Tillie’sMacabuca and Harbour Grille, are ready to delight with their unique take on classic brunch fare.
