—————

The Day of the Dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on 1 and 2 November. It originated in Mexico, where it is mostly observed, but is also celebrated in other parts of Latin America, especially by people of Mexican heritage. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay their respects and to remember friends and family members who have died.
