This year, American Thanksgiving falls on Thursday 23 November 2023, and in the Cayman Islands several restaurants are offering traditional Thanksgiving meals to celebrate the holiday. It is a time for gathering with loved ones and enjoying a delicious meal so instead of cooking this year, consider dining out at one the Cayman Islands top restaurants and check out the menus in our annual dining guide.

The Brasserie

The Brasserie has dining-in as well as take-out options this Thanksgiving. The three-course dinner costs CI $65 per person plus gratuities. 

Here’s what on the Thanksgiving menu at the Brasserie this year. 

First course you can choose the Caboose roasted pumpkin soup that’s vegan and gluten-free or coconut glazed sweet potato salad. The main course is all-natural turkey roulade with Yukon potato mash, apple and sage stuffing, roasted garden carrots, and Cayman sorrel tartar, with shiitake mushroom gravy. If you aren’t in the mood for turkey, you can select the Brasserie catch. For dessert, you’ll enjoy the pecan and coco bluff coconut pie.

The Falls Steakhouse

The Falls Steakhouse is having a turkey dinner for CI$38.95. The meal will include turkey with gravy and homemade cranberry sauce, along with homemade stuffing with garlic mashed potato and julienne of mixed vegetables. You’ll receive a complimentary drink. And fresh pumpkin pie for dessert.

David’s, Morritt’s Tortuga Club & Resort, East End 

Consider heading to Morritt’s at the East End to celebrate American Thanksgiving. David’s Restaurant’s sumptuous buffet will feature charcuterie platters and salads, soups and breads, entrées including herb roasted turkey, mustard brown sugar glazed ham, rosemary lemon and honey glazed salmon, and roasted certified Angus beef top sirloin. 

Choose from sides of honey glazed carrots, yams and parsnips, roasted mushrooms in brown butter, creamy mashed potatoes, and oven roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon. The selection of delicious desserts includes chilled pumpkin pie, homemade apple crumble pie, chocolate layered cake, brownie squares and Baileys crème brulee. 

Cost per person is CI$49 plus 15% gratuities, half price for kids 12 and under.

Cracked Conch

Head to Cracked Conch at West Bay to savour not only a stunning sunset but a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings! Their regular a la carte dinner menu will be available too which features world-class seafood. Don’t forget to treat yourself to a cocktail served at the bubble bar.

Luca Restaurant 

Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at Luca this year with your loved ones. Dinner will include roast turkey, honey-glazed ham, mashed sweet potato stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed Irish potatoes, roasted root vegetables, Brussels sprouts, and pumpkin pie.

Union Grill & Bar

The team at Union Grill & Bar want to ensure that you enjoy the best Thanksgiving dinner ever! Their Thanksgiving menu features a feast of roast turkey, sliced baked ham,  braised red cabbage, sprouts with pancetta, Bourbon-glazed carrots, potato Dauphinoise, popovers, herb stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce.

Roast turkey dinner costs CI$39. For an additional CI$12, choose from a selection of decadent desserts which includes apple tart crumble with pear ice cream, warm pecan piewith vanilla ice cream and chocolate molten cake with creme Anglaise. Sounds delicious?

What could be better than fine dining on Thanksgiving evening with family and friends at The Wharf? Dine under the stars while overlooking the ocean. Their special Thanksgiving menu features a selection of starters which includes 50g Imperial Caviar, lobster nuggets, crab cakes, Brussels sprouts bake and ginger spiced pumpkin soup. 

The choice of entrees features “deep fried” Thanksgiving turkey, black pepper prawns, 10z Caribbean lobster tail, surf & turf. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a pecan crust pumpkin pie served with rum-cinnamon anglaise and vanilla gelato.

Lobster Pot

It’s not all about seafood at the Lobster Pot because there is turkey on the menu for their special American Thanksgiving on Thursday 23 November!

For starters, kick off with a roasted butternut squash soup, followed by traditional roast turkey and pineapple glazed ham with sage, onion stuffing and creamy mash potatoes topped with pan gravy accompany with roasted vegetables and Riesling cranberry sauce. And for dessert, enjoy pumpkin cheesecake with Baileys caramel sauce. The cost is CI$55 plus 15% gratuities per person.

Ristorante Pappagallo

Ristorante Pappagallo would like to ensure their customers enjoy a special Thanksgiving dinner by offering a fantastic menu that features pumpkin risotto, maple soy glazed salmon, and herb roasted turkey breast with all the trimmings – country stuffing, gravy, roasted Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, and homemade cranberry jam. The choice of starters includes American sweet potato and coconut soup, spinach salad, and puff pastry wrapped baby brie.
